about our workshops
Workshops with Ebony Vision Art are both virtual and in-person guided community art sessions that utilize abstract visual art techniques paired with reflective prompts that allow folks of all ages to embrace their creative process and practice being in the present moment. To make workshops accessible, Ebony Vision Art offers free and sliding-scale based workshops by partnering with community-oriented businesses and non-profit organizations. All materials are provided. No prior art experience is necessary.

Thank you for creating a safe space in the universe for me and others to come together in our most authentic self. To be, heal, and love in community. To create with liberation and light.

I really appreciated Brittany’s vibe and direction that was so easy to follow. In this session I was really able to do some healing work (which was different from me) this whole session inspired the now 3 line art pieces I have ✨🔥
Workshop Attendee
I felt inspired and encouraged by peers to create and fully embody the enjoyment of that process.

Thank you for holding space for us to deeply listen to our intuition through painting. Grounding into our intuitive power before making is such a powerful practice. There are so amany voices of skepticism and criticism bumping up against our intuition… sometimes it gets hard to hear. Thank you for this re-attunement, re-grounding, and remembering.

As someone who doesn’t call herself a visual artist, this workshop felt very accessible and easeful for me, I felt like I could intuitively express myself through painting without worrying about expectations or outcomes.

mattice beauty supply
Mattice was inspired to start Mattice Beauty Supply from her own experiences in beauty supply stores as a black woman. She hated the way she was treated in those stores so her goal is to create a space for women, especially women of color, to feel comfortable, accepted, and respected. She also wants to create a space for creatives and a place for local artisans to have their items.
